Welcome to the dub dub hub! We have pre-filled your subscription to our email list so we can reach out to contact you about our marketplace.
Our community is designed to be a vibrant, inclusive hangout for data professionals to connect, learn, & have fun. To make sure it stays that way, here are a few guidelines:

Keep It on Topic
Discuss topics related to data & analytics. Off-topic discussions, like current affairs, business strategy or pop-culture, are allowed only in “The Lounge”.

Bug Reports & Feedback
Submit any bugs, technical issues or feedback to [email protected] or the “Ask dub dub” chat so we can look into it quickly. We value your input, but please keep the other channels for conversation, not complaints.

Product & Service Recommendations
Sales discussions must take place in the “Showcase Sales” channel and should be limited to products or services available on the dub dub data marketplace.
In other channels, if someone requests recommendations, you may share links to a dubber's profile or listing in our marketplace. If it's your own, please make that clear.
Recommending products that aren’t on the dub dub marketplace is ok as long as you have no financial affiliation or connection with that company. If we discover you have misused this privilege to promote your own business off the marketplace it will result in an immediate ban from the platform.

No Unsolicited DMs
Respect people's inboxes. No DMs without explicit consent. Feel free to report any unapproved contact to our moderation team.

No Unauthorised Promotions
Outside of the “Showcase Sales” channel, there should be no unsolicited pitching. Avoid sending DMs to promote business, posting hiring ads, or advertising paid/free offers. Let's keep this space clean & focused.

Respect & Kindness Always
Absolutely no harassment, bullying, or negative behaviour will be tolerated. We’re all here to learn & grow together, so please keep things supportive and respectful. If you act out of line, you’ll be shown the door.

Sharing External Content
Sharing external content is fine, as long as it doesn’t compete with dub dub’s business. Please avoid advertising your own business website or offers - keep it focused on dub dub. We understand there are plenty of valuable tools out there that we might never sell on our marketplace, and we encourage everyone to help each other. Use your best judgment! We’ll step in if we feel posts or comments are steering business away from our platform. Remember, we offer this community as a free service, but we still need to keep the lights on.

Moderation & Violations
Breaking the community guidelines may lead to suspension or a permanent ban - our moderators have the final say on this. If you need more info on our moderation practices, reach out to us anytime.

Content Use & Intellectual Property
By joining this community, you acknowledge that dub dub data may use posts and discussions for marketing and promotional purposes. Opinions shared here are those of fellow community members - everyone's journey is different, so take advice with a pinch of salt. Membership doesn’t grant rights to use dub dub data’s name, logo, or intellectual property for your own commercial use.
